The Embassy of Portugal in Abu Dhabi issued its approval on February 28 for an investor-entrepreneur from the MENA region to join the HQA program on the southern coast of Portugal.

The executive, who has active business interests in the semi-conductor industry, plans to launch an Internet-of-things startup geared to the automotive sector.

The new venture will capitalize on advances in the field of network optimisation, as it develops in the care of Empowered Startups HQA business incubation program in Faro.
